Haven't played since 2K8, would like to play 2K11

    Short story:

Played and loved MLB 2K8, was too busy being a father for 2K9, skipped 2K10 after only hearing negative things about it.

Why should I buy MLB 2K11? Are there any MLB 2K fanboys out there? I want to play a baseball game this season, and I'm not blowing money on a PS3 for The Show (Granted, I would love to play it.)

I wonder where folks might have posted information like this?

Shouldn't be asking us dude, this whole section has a LOT of new information about 2K11, most recent one was posted yesterday and a huge wall of text.
Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.

2K9 was a good year to skip, but 2K10 was actually pretty good. Yeah, it had a few quirks, but I still play it here and there and have a good time with it. I tried popping in 2K8 the other day and I couldn't stand it compared to 2K10.

As for 2K11, it's sounding pretty good. Since the new development team came in for 2K9, they've really been building momentum every year, and based on the progress they made from 2K9 to 2K10, we should have a great game of baseball this year. They seem to really be focusing on the right areas.

All the info's here, buddy. Just read the forum. We don't even know WHAT'S in 2k11, except for a little different on screen layout, dynamic ratings- and they say they've changed things to the pitcher batter interface.

Specifically check previews (which all has the same info) and the dev insight on ratings.

I'm gonna close this up, it's clutter.
