Just because you guys are desperate enough to read the same basic information from a bazillion different sources, it doesn't mean 2K is releasing the same info over and over again.

Are they supposed to deny a news outlet and interview and information on their Million Dollar contest because you already read it somewhere else?

Come on now, you don't have to be like that. This is their big pitch for game sales, and by all means it worked for me last year (I forgot to even attempt it though lol).

Their next developer diary will more than likely not even have a mention of it. They do have other things to focus on, and they want to prove themselves worthy to us. I do hope and expect to be impressed. The last developer diary was impressive in terms of quality from their end; this should be the same.

I am however not happy about yet again another announcement about a DD that is delayed. I half-expected it on this one.

I just hope we get a picture featuring a Rockie player wearing the black-on-black vest, instead of 2K's infamous black-on-purple vest concoction. It's been years and 2K hasn't gotten it right. Perhaps this is the year... If I see it they can have my 60 bucks.

How does Ronnie still have a job? I'm being serious, not trying to flame or troll or anything. Has this guy ever delivered on a deadline/date for 2k? I know he's not the one in charge of putting everything together, but he's PR. He shouldn't promise dates info, screens, patches, and videos only to see them get delayed every time.

With that said, I'm really looking forward to reading about the franchise improvements if that is indeed what the DD is about.

I'm sure it's not all his fault. But he does things like tweet that info is going up, only to come back with some excuse as to why it never did. then he tweets that it will be up first thin in the morning. Then it doesn't.

I'm just saying, maybe he should wait until he sees it online before he starts tweeting about the info.

He's in PR. His job is to make sure that the public's image towards 2K is positive. When you constantly miss deadlines and dates you tell your customers, it effects image in a negative way. That's on him. You'd think after so many missed dates and deadlines he'd get the hint that maybe he shouldn't spill the beans so soon until it's actually ready to go or make sure 2K's marketing team and developers have their asses in gear.

I don't know, I just think he does a very poor job at relaying information to existing and potential customers.

this is bill2451... are you serious? IT WAS A JOKE and I got banned... give me a break. I am not a troller, I am looking forward to buying MLB2k11 (barring any game breaking bugs).

This is stupid, I get banned for a joke, meanwhile, I post a serious post about how the discipline rating could become meaningful, and get 0 responses.

Am I seriously banned for that little joke? I have been a positive contributer to OS for two years (including one of the most popular madden slider threads) and the only real time I've gotten a warning was for "trolling" in a thread that was filled w/ mis-information that I was calling out because it was faulty (and that was over a year ago).

this seriously ruins my day. Come on. I am not a troller, I was not trolling. I am a strong supporter of MLB2k and think it generally gets a bad rap for being a pretty solid game.

I thought it was a funny joke, but I can promise you it wasn't trolling and I think its ridiculous that one comment gets me banned (meanwhile, we have ppl calling for ronnies head on a platter)

Hopefully this thing is about franchise mode because that's pretty much all I play in MLB since the online is usually pretty bad.
