I picked this game up last week and I've been enjoying it. My only problem is this game is hard as freaking crap. I played Play Now at pro and that gives me a good game. I tried franchise and I feel like I hit HRs too easily at Pro. I cut it up to All Pro and I'm getting my head bashed in. I believe in using bad team in franchise, so I got the Pirates. We started against the Astros and swept them in a 3 game series. I felt that wasn't right or too realistic. I restarted at All Pro and I'm getting blasted. How did or do you guys play? Does the dynamic difficulty make the game different from Play Now?

There are some really good custom difficulty sliders for 2k7 if you search through the slider section. The main things you need to adjust are the hitting power (to cut down on homers) and fielder speeds (to cut down on robbed homers). I had that game tuned to near perfection a couple years ago.Comment

I tried a set of custom sliders today and the game is a lot better. Amazing the difference it makes. Now maybe I can turn this Pirates franchise around.Comment

Also, i just rememberd: make sure you download the Free custom stadium. It contains a patch that fixes some bugs. I know it sounds weird, but it's true.Comment
