Franchise mode saleries will make or barake for me...

i traded the game in last year within a week. im all about offline franchise mode and once i found out the saleries were so low in turn which made it easier for all teams to re-sign there top stars, which means free agency was crap. hoping they fixed it to some extent this year if not i will not buy this game

Agreed. If it isn't better this year it's just gonna be a lot of quick games against my friends for me.

I actually had the opposite happen to me. teams' budgets were so low, and they overpaid for mediocre players, that within 4+ years, i was able to basically get every star free agent i wanted, at any cost. that killed franchise for me.

Whatever they use, everything just needs to be scaled properly.

If they are going to say A-Rod is making $12M a year, then the Yankee's cannot still have a $200+M payroll....and Pujols can't request $30M a year as free agent. It all needs to work together so that players values in the game are still relative to the teams budgets..and from team to team, the budgets should also be relative. If the Yankee's show a $100M budget, then a team like the A's should be in the $20's or 30's.

I find it stupid that they can't use actual salaries when we all can go to anyone of several webistes and get this info.

It'd be awesome if everything was editable, but only if in had impact on what happend after. It makes no sense to manipulate salaries and budgets if the free agents or rookies are going to ask for the same regardless.

Agreed 100%. If that's not fixed, then I won't be buying this year.

Same, it was really annoying having the top rated FA every year be no higher then a 75 OVL.

Not to mention that those really highly-rated players all re-signed for ridiculously low salaries.

Here's hoping that's fixed.
