No way that this demo is on Pro.

I am getting completely destroyed in every game i play. Maybe because i have my "Game Default" difficulty to Hard, but i have been destroyed in each game i tried. Right now im down 15-0 and it's still in the first. Sanchez is rattled and they gap everything i throw.

    edit: Final was 24-0.

You have to be pretty bad to lose on this demo. It is on Pro because you can serve it up down the middle and the cpu batters have holes in their bats and hitting is way to easy

It does not matter what you have your system defaulted to. Is a demo

There is no doubt in my mind that your "Game Default" settings has control over what difficulty the demo is at for you. Started a new game after changing the setting from hard to easy, and rebooted the demo. Three hard hit balls by me, one a home run by Posey, and on defense all the fielders throwing meters we almost full green, while earlier they just had a sliver of green.

Shot two videos, one with me playing with my "game default" settings at hard, and then at easy. the difference between how the game plays between the two is night and day, uploading them now.

Not to shoot you down here or anything, because I'm not about that, but maybe its more of a placebo affect, and you in the mindset that its easier, so you play better?

I have noticed and increase in difficulty too. The cpu as Tex straight rakes. I havent lost anywhere close to what the thread starter has though.

You really have to mix locations and pitches. You cant leave anything fat or predictable or its extra bases.

I tried this as suggested and indeed setting your profile default to HARD makes the game play much differently. The computer AI batting is much tougher. The hit back to back HRs of me after changing the setting, and they are making better contact overall on just about everything.

                Good find!

Where exactly are you guys setting your profile to hard, i don't see any options for that?

I mean, I don't want to indict anyone's skill here, but this is the first baseball video game I've tried in 15 years and I only lost 1-0.

On a more serious note, other posters are saying the console profile Game Default difficulty does affect this demo; I'd try messing with that.

This should be in the impressions thread. Locking it up.
