I have the retail version and the answer is yes. I only use classic batting and am on default sliders right now. Hit one out with Colby Rasmus.

In my first game I hit two homers using classic batting. I use classic pitching as well.

In Classic pitching do you hold the button down for entire pitch all the time or just sometimes? This is my first time with 2K baseball so I don't know anything about Classic pitching. I would appreciate it if you could explain how it works.

Hold the button down till the yellow circle fills, you're trying to aim for the maximum which is when the circle turns red. Once it reaches the max, release the button.

Last question on Classic pitching, do you use break point or pinpoint, and do you always go with what the catcher calls (location or pitch type)?

Last question on Classic pitching, do you use break point or pinpoint, and do you always go with what the catcher calls (location or pitch type)?

I use pinpoint, I like knowing where the pitch is supposed to end up. I'll go with the catcher most of the time, sometimes the hitter's blue block (I think that's their weak spots), and sometimes try to get them to chase one way outside if I'm ahead.
