They have 18 straight losing seasons? Haven't won more than 66 or 67 games in the last 5 years. They stink. That sounds bad although I'm not going to jump off a bridge at the moment.

Lets not forget the 69 Mets went from 73-89 in "68" to 100-62 and a World Series in 69.

A few questions from someone who hasn't played 2K for quite a few years now. Does 2K11:

- have legendary teams or players (ie Silver and Golden Age teams)?

- have classic jerseys, and if so, how many for each team?

- maybe this will be included in the day 1 patch, but do the Red Sox had names on their jerseys (they shouldn't)?

Red Sox still have names on there jerseys at home. Red alts don't have them.

how does the crowd sound in the game ? do they really roar after big plays and boo the opposing team ?

Crowd and commentary sound great. IMO it's the best in the biz

Wait...really? Wonder what possessed them to change that from last year. I know it was in the video we saw earlier, but I just assumed it was a weird alternate or a goof that would be fixed. Never thought they'd be like that in the final and now it seems they have it backwards. That's a pretty big uniform gaff. Oh well... Reason number eleventy-gillion why I go with the PC version...lol. Hopefully they can fix that for the consoles sake at least.

View questions, thanks for your time with these.
1.) classic stadiums?
2.) did they fix the crowd in the upper sections of parks, it was so awful looking at thsoe people.
3.) do you see any vacuum gloves by the fielders?

I haven't checked. I don't care about classic stadiums.
No. Still looks horrid.
I've only seen one play like that

I'd be interested in how good the "pitcher control" slider works.

I haven't checked all the sliders to see how they work.

does the computer manage a good game?

So far yes. I was playing Clev and after giving up 5 runs in only 2.2 innings Lannan got pulled.

How is franchise mode this year? Did they add anything significant or worth mentioning? Thanks.

Doens't look like it, but they could have done a lot under the hood type stuff. The season I simmed there were only 4 trades and it didn't involve anyone big.

One thing that I can't figure out.

What does the bad match up vs. Pitcher/Batter mean.

Which on is bad for the pitcher and which bad for the batter?

How does PNC park look? I don't really have any jaggies on my 50" Samsung 1080p plasma so perhaps it just depends on everyone's tv?

I love the demo and was wondering if you are seeing more animations in the final build verses the demo? Also, are the transitional animations improved in the retail copy. I mainly mean about how they sometimes run then jog then stop almost as if they are not aware of what they should be doing.

Just a couple of questions:

Are you seeing a lot of soft linersnto infielders?

If you pinch hit for the pitcher, does that pinch hitter start the next inning on the mound before you can bring in the reliever like last year?

Well, how are the sim stats? I heard that it was atrocious last year. Hopefully they at least fixed this.

Well...let's not get carried away...lol. The Giants weren't exactly trotting scrubs out there. I mean, I'd like the Pirates chances a lot better with your boys' rotation Scott.

It'll be alright though. 2K has always had a high degree of randomness in it's simulation results. As long as it's an exception and not the rule, it's nothing to get too worked up over.

PNC Park looks really good. I was there for a couple of games last year.

I haven't seen anything that I didn't see in the demo.

I've seen some, but when I see them it doesn't bother me.

Yes. The pinch hitter is on the mound and you're prompted to bring in another pitcher.

So far so good. I'm liking my purchase.
