I'm almost afraid to ask, as this is something I had hoped they would fix for the last two years.

When playing an exhibition game, can you edit your opponent's starting pitcher and line-up?

Thanks for answering our questions! I have a few if you don't mind:

1. Can you choose open/closed roofs this year or are there separate stadium models for both?

2. Any rain?

3. Can you double switch? (They added it to a patch last year and didn't tell anyone)

4. Are day night transitions accurate for season? (ex. does it stay light longer in July games than April)

5. How much does wind affect the ball and is there any indicator to tell what direction/speed? Can I tell if it's blowing out or in at Wrigley for example?

Haven't tried.
I have no clue. I didn't play any games franchise mode.
The wind will blow the ball, but I haven't noticed how much. The flags in the outfield will flow in the wind, but I can't see anything where it shows how hard. You'll also see the clouds moving along in the sky.

I'd really like to know how the league leaders in some of the more important stats(ERA, HR, AVG, etc.) look at the end of the year. If somebody could pull this off I'd really appreciate it.

I'm shocked about the Red Sox uniforms. Other than that, I'm glad you're enjoying your time with the game. Makes the next two days that much more unbearable.

do you use the default camera ? or do you have it set to follow the ball ? cause i enjoy watching the ball sail over the wall.........

I use default cameras except for hitting. I moved it to be closer to to the plate. There isn't any way to see the ball go over the wall this year. Sorry man.

Hey Jerz thanks for doing this. I really only have one question, and it is a niche one at that.
If you ever get around to going through the franchise again could you pop in the amateur draft and give a rough average of the speed rating of non pitching prospects? If it is way outa your way don't bother skipping it. Tuesday is soon enough anyways.

Do you think that we can play this game the whole season and not get bored?

Has is it been FUN to play? I'm really excited for this one and I want to play the entire year so I don't want be let down lol

Have you noticed any difference, esp. in fielding, between the players? I mean has there been a play yet that would've been routine in 2k10 that was more difficult?

I have a couple of questions..

I haven't played 2k since 2007 but have played '11 Demo.

In the retail version, do the batters swing the bat really fast like in the demo? I think this is one of the unrealistic things in the game, its kinda arcade like.

Also, does the fielder run speed slider reduce the speed significantly? (and baserunning speed)


Also, you mentioned the cameras and I'm not clear on this part, is the camera in the demo (after you hit the ball) the only camera or are there others? I know there are many fielding cams, I'm referring to offensive.

This is reason why I got this game. The demo was flat out fun to play. I felt like it would be the same feeling with the retail copy and I'm not disappointed at all. All my games that I've played (3 innings each) have been really fun. That's why I got this game. It also plays a very good game of baseball IMO.
