Need advice

I have been a show player for the last 4 years and love the game. I downloaded the demo and struggled a little bit. The game has been so good year to year if feels like I am playing the same game.

I really want to buy 2k11. I wanted to ask a few questions before I did.

1. Is it fun. The Show lost its "fun" factor a little bit.

2. I don't expect it to be as realistic as the Show but does it accurately simulate a baseball season. Do stats come out fairly realistic?

3. What are some of the most glaring errors in the game?

4. Do any PS3 players play this over the show. (would be nice to get in some online games).

I wouldnt make the switch... I just sold my copy on ebay for 45. I never thought I would EVER buy a ps3 being a die hard XBOX fan but 2k year in and year out puts out a game that is slammed with glitches and bugs along with really not adding much to it.

amazing, you bought the game, played it, managed to form a valid opinion, put it on ebay, and sold it, all within a matter of hours

please stop trolling the 2k boards 2siq and go back over to the show if you want to be a fanboy

as for UMDDogs, I haven't played the game yet, but from what I've been hearing it is FUN (that is the key word). There are a couple of annoying bugs, like the CF HR/Out bug which crop up here and there (I never saw it in the demo, a few others did) but the general opinion seems to be that if you can overlook a few jaggies, some poor faces at times, animation transitions that aren't as good as the show, etc, then the game itself is just plain fun.

If you're a stickler for graphics and need the complete polish of the show, then this game may not be for you

Thanks for the post. I like the idea of the show. But in actuality it is too much for me. I don't have time to do everything the show allows.

I need a game that is fun and has a mostly realistic franchise mode. Besides that I could care less about rule 5 draft and the other in depth areas of The Show.

I got the game 3 days ago. Trolling you my friend are a tool. A fanboy lol I have owned a 360 from day one and will still play the 360 for 80% of the games hence I have played competitive in the COD series for going on three years. Please before you open your mouth realize that befor 2k baseball there was a real series MVP. Fan boy when I would take 2k over anything but baseball sorry that the show as a whole seems to be more complete and well polished and I'm sick of getting the shaft from 2k. How about you do some research on the glitches and patches needed by 2k in the past years before you act like you know everything lol Have fun wasting 60$ on a game that is the same as last year. I will buy a new system all day until we find if EA will make a comeback or not.

what does owning a 360 have to do with being a fanboy of the show? You go into the impressions thread and posted the exact same thing you posted here... I'm sorry, but talking about the show and praising it in all its greatness while bashing 2k (without any real support about what you didn't like about this years game) in the impressions thread (where comments about The Show don't even belong) = fanboy

you clearly don't like MLB 2k, so go away... its quite simple
