I love pitching but I hate fielding. Does MLB2K11 have an option for automatic fielding like The Show has?

I love pitching and hitting and hate fielding. However, and this is my first time doing the fielding, I also played The Show, fielding in this game is doable. I mean, for a guy who never did it before, I am doing pretty well.

To answer your question, I don't think there is auto fielding in this game, but I'll know more after the game arrives via UPS later today. I'll check back tonight and let you know.

Just letting you know there is no auto fielding in the game, and no auto baserunning either in case you're wondering.

I never had 2K baseball before so don't know about the past. I could use some help with auto fielding and auto baserunning. However, I've played the other game with both auto fielding and auto baserunning and the AI makes your players do things that make doing it yourself better! The only area that I see as being really helpful for fielding would be the infield and catcher throws to get players trying to steal. I am new to this game so lots to learn.

Thanks for the info. I will be sticking with The Show which is a fantastic game anyway.
