    Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Thread

Summary of bug: (Kaufman Stadium) Tori Hunter hit, I was using Jeff Francoeur and I attempted to rob the home run. Player jumped and caught the ball brought it back into the park and threw it to the cut off. However the home run still counted

Game Mode you were playing: Franchise

What happened to trigger it? Home run?

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?: Another attempt at robbing a home run

    Video/Picture proof: None.

Question on the franchise fatigue glitch:

If I play every game, I know that my players will be at 100% health. But will the computers be as well? And f so, will I always be seeing the ace of the staff since all pitchers will be at 100%?

I suppose the work-around is not playing every game?

CPU pitchers do show fatigue. When games are simmed, such as the games you don't play, players get fatigued. When playing a series against another team, the CPU does its rotation and you don't see the same starting pitcher two games in a row. However, you will see the same relief pitchers.

Summary of bug:CPU brings in a pitcher as defensive replacement.

Game Mode you were playing: Franchise

What happened to trigger it? I think the CPU noticed that it was late innings and replaced a weak fielder or injured player with a pitcher of better fielding stats.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?: It will probably just happen again.

              2nd one I have found.

Summary of bug: Billy Butler who is a DH was injured during a fielding play?

Game Mode you were playing: Franchise

What happened to trigger it? I struck out an opposing player and then It popped up saying Billy Butler was injured on the previous play.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?: Most likely not, unless another DH becomes injured.

Summary of bug: Players stuck on field after they should leave. Gallardo kneeling next to the pitchers mound and Votto sitting on an invisible chair, supposed to be the dugout, at home plate.

                Game Mode you were playing:
                Franchise

                What happened to trigger it?
Bottom of the ninth and no outs I struck out Votto with Gallardo who subsequently got hurt with a broken ankle and then they were stuck.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?:
Not sure, maybe strike out a batter and then have a pitcher get hurt.

Has anyone noticed players who should have dreads, sometimes have them during gameplay, but not during replay? Also, during the pitcher sub cut scene in a game I played, Freddy Garcia had dreads when he left the mound after giving Girardi the ball. Not a good look for him.

Summary of bug: Hit a HR that bounced off a sign/ad into the OF's glove. was called out but also gave me the HR. it was very fast, looked like it could have gone either way, but the replay did show it was a clear HR.

Game Mode you were playing: Franchise

What happened to trigger it? nothing

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?: nope, fluke play.

Summary of bug: Simmed teams sometimes go a whole season without any stolen bases.

Game Mode you were playing: Franchise

What happened to trigger it? First season of my franchise (Pirates). The St. Louis Cardinals finished the season with ONE stolen base. Now, a month into my second season, the Milwaukee Brewers have ZERO stolen bases.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?: Seems to be happening again in my second season...

Summary of bug: Pitcher records a save by pitching 0.1 innings with 4-run lead.

Game Mode you were playing: Franchise

What happened to trigger it? I play eight inning games. I had Evan Meek come in as a reliever in the 6th. He almost pulled off the three-inning save. He only pitched 2.2 innings, and I brought Hanrahan in for the last out. Score was 5-1 at that point. Hanrahan got the last out, but was credited with the save.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?: Haven't tried. This is the first time I really paid attention to it.

I pulled my starting pitcher in the second inning and the pitcher who came in did not get the win--the starting pitcher got the win!

There seems to be a bug in the PC version in My Player mode.

The fastball rating cannot go above 95. When you get up to 95 and you add speed beyond 99MPH, it will show as 99 during the skill points screen. However, if you go to your Player Card, the rating will be 99 (95) in red for the fastball.

                              Has anyone else experienced this?
