    Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Thread

I was playing a game against my friend earlier and I was up 3-0 in the top of the 9th (I was the home team). With 2 outs, he hit what appeared to be a home run, it did the whole presentation for it and everything, but I tried the whole "wall climb" thing and it said I got him out. My guy must have caught it through the wall because his hand disappeared into the wall, but he never had the ball in his glove after haha.

I was confused as to which call was made. But we got stuck in a camera sequence between the dude who hit the home run and my pitcher. However, both are in their respective dugouts because the game is considered "over".

In the pause menu it even said it's 3-1 now for a final score and that there are 3 outs. The game wasn't completely over but now we'll never know. Needless to say, my friend is mad that he got robbed of his last out.

      Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Thread

      Summary of bug:
Yanks vs. Twins top of the 1st runners on 1st and 2nd 1 out. Justin Morneau hit a fly ball to left field which was caught while the runner on 2nd tagged and advanced to 3rd. While Morneau was jogging off the field, a graphic came up that said, "MILESTONE: 1000th CAREER HIT" unless I am totally missing something here, that is not supposed to be a hit. I paused the game and checked the box score and it did not count it has a hit either.

      Game Mode you were playing:
      Franchise

      What happened to trigger it?
Fly ball out that advanced a runner from second to third.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?:
I think so, out of the first 3 batters in a game get 1 of them out then walk the other 2 and have someone with 9999 hits come up to the plate and get him to fly out and and advance the runner from 2nd to 3rd. Now that I think about it, it would be very tedious to reproduce.

      Video/Picture proof:
      None.
      MLB: Texas Rangers
      NBA: Dallas Mavericks
      NFL: Dallas Cowboys
      NHL: Dallas Stars

        Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Thread

Summary of bug:The CPU will move around lineups and pitching rotation after I sim games. I set all automation to off and put someone who normally isn't a closer at closer, not normally a starter at starter, etc. and they're back to their original positions after simming.

        Game Mode you were playing:Franchise

What happened to trigger it?:I simmed games. I have simmed one or two games and had my lineups stay as I wanted but any more than that and they change.

Can you reproduce it? If so, how?:Go to Franchise and put someone out of his position and sim a couple of weeks. Go back and look at lineups and see that he is in the original position even though automation is off.

Summary of Bug Stats being added to the ones actually earned through play. Every player on every other team has 1 or 2 games played, my players have anywhere from 1 to 150 games played and all the stats that would go along with the games played. OR No stats showing up at all. If you just sim a game, no stats show up. If you play or super sim a game, then extra stats are added.

          Game Mode: Single player franchise.

How Triggered? Selecting either Manage Organization or Do nothing before spring training. Choosing to allow the AI to choose your initial 40 man roster seems to stop the bug.

Able to reproduce? Yep. 11 attempted franchises. 2 reinstalls. 2 manual patchings. 11 franchises with the bug. If you want visual proof, let me know. I can post the screens or send them to you, or fraps up a video showing the whole process. Only found the fix because I was checking if my second repatch did anything, and was in a hurry. I never let AI's manage anything, so I never thought to let them. I can reproduce the fix as well. Started 5 franchises to test. All five after allowing AI to manage initial 40 man roster were fine, no matter how many changes/trades/callups I made after the initial set up.

            Re: MLB2K11 - Bug/Glitch Thread

Summary of Bug: Every time catcher throws the ball back to the pitcher, the pitcher misses the ball and it goes into center field.

            Game Mode: Franchise, single player.

How Triggered: Never happened until the pitcher was Casey Janssen and there are no runners on base.

Can I reproduce it: Every time he pitches, it happens. It has no effect on the game, it just looks stupid.
