    Frustrated!!

I am frustrated that we cannot go back to the old camera when the ball is hit in play. If you play online that is the default camera but offline if you are batting you are stuck with that new camera and I just don't like it. I thought 2k said we can play the game our way and all that crap. They could of at least put the option in to revert back to it.

go to baserunning camera and put height and zoom both at 10. This should help you for what it is worth.

Thanks. I did do that but it is still not the camera from previous years. It doesn't follow the ball. It does have it as the default camera online so why not let us have an option offline of using it? arrgh

Yeah that's true but at least it makes it easier to see. I agree on that one

I agree. I want to have the same camera I use for fielding. Has anyone tried using a 2nd controller to start as 2 player game and then switch 2nd controller to CPU and see if it sticks. I'll try it later and post back.

Well I was able to hook up a 2nd controller and start a game in 2 player mode. I pitched to myself and when I hit the ball in play, the camera angle is the "fielding view" and let me say....it looks great. However, the minute you move the 2nd player over to CPU control again, all the cameras revert back to single player mode and you are stuck looking at "base-running" view when you put the ball in play. This seems obvious but sometimes games don't revert back to default settings when a player leaves.....this works in many sports games for fixing shortcomings of the program. BUt not in this one.

This is a huge disapointment as I prefer the old method of following the ball into the field. Why did they change this? Did a lot of users request that the view be changed to a camera stuck behind home plate? Do we really need to see our baserunners when there is a small HUD showing their position on the diamond anyway?

It would be great if they could patch this. I prefer the camera views from last years game overall...but the pitching and hitting duel of this new version has really got me amped! I just hate the "baserunning" camera....even with the tweaks posted. Let's hope there is a fix. In previous version of mlb2k they added additional cameras in a patch...so it is possible.

            Thanks.

I love camera options. The more the better. I actually like the new one but would like to switch to the old one as well at times. Removing options is always a bad idea.

Theres an option under Presentation called Real Time. You can change it to Hurry Up or 2K10. Wonder what happens if you put it on 2K10? I will try when I get home unless someone wants to check it out sooner.

I think that just affects the number of replays. I tried Hurry Up and it just cuts out that stuff out but doesn't affect the base running angle.

Yeah it's annoying that they don't just include every camera across every mode. I'd like to be able to play the "Drills" mode every now and then, just for a quick BP session, but don't really like the one hitting camera option they give you which differs from the one I use in a game.
