Is there anything specific I have to set to get surround sound? I have a Radeon 5770 using HDMI to my Pioneer receiver and I only get DD with this game...other games work fine...

BS - What is the lag like on the PC version. I have only tried the 360 version, and while it is better than last year, still a bit rough.

PC~ has anyone been able to get the Franchise ticker to work in game? I have played two games in my O's franchise and I have not seen a single score of any other team as I play my own.

I have the other setting on: realism so that it plays everything out. I do not skip over anything so I am not sure what to do in order to make it work.

2K Ticker is not displayed during the games you play. It is active on the Menu screens throughout your Franchise. Screenshot below from a test Pirates Franchise I'm running:

That sucks, I was hoping to see scores of games in my franchise. That is a total letdown.

Just played a Franchise game. Frame rate was going okay until I started getting guys on base while pitching and that's when it took a steep dive to the point that pitching became tough to time correctly. Once the bases were cleared though I was back to smooth frames. I am noticing that during replays I get this weird rhythmic lag...like the playback "snags" every few seconds to a beat almost. I've upgraded audio and video drives to no avail.

I'm still really irritated with my Create-a-Player's name coming up as "#######" in the MLB Headlines in Franchise Mode. This game needs a patch and soon.

Too many liners to infielders.

At one point, I had Burnett, CC and Hughes on the DL for more than 15+ days.

I have had CONSTANT problems with jerseys. The Yankees were wearing Twins jerseys, while the Sox had the pinstripes on but with red numbers at Yankee Stadium.

Pitching works fine one at-bat and then is completely screwy the next AB.

What is with the power and the swing stick. I have had over a dozen pop flies using this, it is basically useless.

Baserunning animations, completely awful.

Anyone ever watch the infielders when the are at bat? You can basically see the animation reset each time. The infielders set their stance and after the pitch is thrown, they reload the animation.

Check out the flags at the stadiums. One will blow out, another in. Is there even a wind setting? Rain anyone?

I love how Cano and A-Rod walk up to the plate with their shades on, then take them off when they get up at bat...yup.

Crowd, Benches, everything, but the players on the field look awful.

The SAME stats pop-up during games...triples leaders, most runs in the league, stats of star players. I have basically memorized that Teixiera led in walks and was 4th in home runs last season.

Question for you all - I recently purchased this game, and enjoying it decently overall. One thing that is tripping me up: the game defaults for me on classic pitching. For the life of me, I cannot find where the option for total control pitching is!

Oddly enough though, batting is handled through the right stick.

I'm using a Dual Shock 3 with the Motion Joy driver as my controller. Although the game defaults with classic pitching even when simulating an Xbox 360 controller or a PS2 controller.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Go to options/mycontroller/control setup/scroll down to swing/ push left stick in(not left,right,up,down).The menue to choose classic pitching and batting will appear. It will be saved for your franchise. This is for a 360 controller for pc, I dont know about any others.

What video card do you have? Sounds like it might not be up to snuff.

ATI HD4850 512MB. I average 60 FPS most of the time. I am having an issue a few others have reported with the MSAA setting turning the stadiums transparent, so I end up with Xbox-like jaggies. I am considering picking up a Nvidia GTX 460 though, so we'll see if that helps.

BTW, attached is what I'm talking about with my player's name being nothing but "#######" in the Franchise headline screen.

Please help me with this problem...i can't score a home run on pc version...all my hits are inside the stadium...is there any button combination..or something to give more power to the swing?...i only use the swing button...please help me..thanks
