Maybe it's like the courts in NBA 2K11 and has to do with regional settings?

Re: PC 2K11
I wonder if it has to do with the level of detail that everyone is playing at. I have the game maxed out in every way possible, and am playing at 1680x1050(native screen res)Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: PC 2K11
I did download the living roster, maybe this could be it. I'll try deleting and re-installing the game when I get home from work. I am also playing at my display's native res, 1680 x 1050.Comment

I build PC's and upgrade desktops, I can easily tell you what it would take to run the game. Even with 4 gigs of ram.Comment

Re: PC 2K11
I'm playing at 1920x1080 also native.
Made a new 2K account and still can't get into it. Tried to put in my password and in game is only a 15 character limit but it was fine on the website.Though the website is clearly out of date,I went to put the Thunder as my favorite NBA team, only option was the Supersonics.

Re: PC 2K11
hey guys, just picked it up for pc. very impressed i must say. got it at best buy. let me start off by saying that i have the show and do still think the show is better, but i really think 2k has made a really good game. i am playing it fully maxed on my asus laptop. i played the 360 demo and it looks much much better on pc. from far camera angles of the players and sta dium the graphics r excellent. up close the faces range from decent to outright ugly. the only hitch/hiccup/slowdown have come on foulballs hit back behind the plate. i also saw a weird outfielder animation occur up against the right field wall, he caught it on the track and kinda morphed into wall, but he caught it and the play reg. as an out so no big deal. i havent jumped into franchise to check the stamina bug but i will later. if anyone has a quest or request just ask.Comment

Re: PC 2K11
Just a quick update for those who care regarding the odd Red Sox home jersey issue. Apparently I did NOT download the living roster when I installed the game because I wasn't signed into 2K, I thought I was because I saw "loading living roster." Anyway, I signed into 2K and downloaded the latest living roster, and voila, no more numbers on the Red Sox home jersey! I don't get it, but I'll take it!Comment

Re: PC 2K11
How is my statement false? Just because I didn't have an online match doesn't mean my statement is false. I didn't say, "I didn't have a match.. therefore there is no online play!". I'm genuinely surprised to learn than 2k10 DID have online.
No need to jump to conclusions.
Also, the Steam description for 2K10 did nothing to help this myth that there was no multiplayer in the console version... the description completely leaves multiplayer out.

And then you went into a defense that the notes on Steam.com didn't say anything about online.
Notes or not, if you own the game, you'd know that it had online matches, leagues etc. Notes on a website, don't put features in games.
If you have a legit copy, downloaded from a company site, or from a retail purchase gives you online, even if it's pirated, the online menu's still appear, until you get a legitimate key code.
Either way the fact is 2k10 on PC had full online modes, along with the other features that the console versions had!Comment

Re: PC 2K11
I hear what you're saying.
I had heard the rumor long before I bought the game that the PC version of 2k10 didn't have online.
When it came up for sale on Steam for under 5 bucks.. I bought it. However, I hardly even tried it out, and didn't notice the online when I did try it.
Glad to hear that it does fully support online though. Not sure where the rumor originally got started.
Peace.

I made a comment of your statements being false, of you saying there wasn't online anything, and that nothing was ever updated, etc.

Re: PC 2K11
Anybody else get semi-transparent stadium walls when turning on MSAA? I have an ATI HD4850. With the AA option turned off, the walls are fine but the game is super jaggy. I even have my video card's settings all the way up and it still looks nasty.
I'm also getting a weird error in the Franchise headlines screen: where my created player's name should be all there is is "#########" in its place, so its read like this "Two doubles by ########## lead the Giants to a win." for example. I'm also having frame rate issues whenever the ball is hit, although my benchmark puts my frames at 65-70.Comment
