    Pitcher Injuries

Hello all, new to the forum. I have been playing the 2K11 for a few games and started a franchise. Two pitchers have gone down with injury already and the season is only two weeks old.

Is it possible that overthrows while pitching are what causes some of the pitcher injuries? I do not recall this happening in 2k10.

    Thanks!

I hope their looking into this.. but until then you can ajust the injury slider.. i'd bring it down to 20-30 range.. that way there are still injurie. just not every start

I've have noticed the same thing. As soon as my pitchers hit 80 pitches it seems like they become extremely prone to injuries. I started a Braves franchise and so far 4 games in and Hanson and Venters both have injuries and Moylan is now out for 40 days. I originally started a Phillies franchise and Halladay and Hamels both become injured after their first starts.

I'm on game 3 of this particular franchise and I just lost my 2nd pitcher in the rotation. He only threw 69 pitches. My #2 and #3 starters are out for multiple months! My injury slider was set at 20 since I started the season. I'm changing that sucker to 5. Btw, I have 2 starting fielders on the DL and 2 others for just a week.

Turn the slider down to 15. Im getting really realistic results at 15. In September and the stats seem pretty good, including injuries and hot/cold streaks.
