How do I stop seeing the 'Living Rosters/Auto Save' question upon booting up?

Every time I start the game, I'm prompted to set preferences for Living Rosters (on/off) and Auto Save (on/off). Each time, I set it to yes for living rosters and no for auto save. How do I stop seeing this?

Furthermore, even though I select 'no' for auto save, it still auto saves. What gives??

I would manually save your User Profile after choosing. Since you have autosave turned off the game doesn't know to save your choice. If that doesn't work, you may need to save your Settings file manually.

Ugh. Did all that. I'm not seeing the message when I boot up, but it's still autosaving in a franchise. Even started a new franchise.

This was a problem last year. Is this possibly a bug?
