How is the franchise in 2k11?

So I'm a very recent and huge baseball fan. I started with 2k10 last fall and had fun until I learned about the other game out there. I decided to get a PS3 for christmas and traded in 2k10 to get the other game.

Anyway, while the other game plays a great game of baseball, there are so many issues with the franchise mode that were there LAST year (there might be MORE this year!). Plus I personally liked 2k10's analog controls a lot more especially for pitching since each pitch had it's own feel.

I love franchise mode so the 2013 bug is really killing me AGAIN with the other game.

So besides all of the glitches, how is franchise mode?

Also in 2k10 there were no errors or injuries (even though it said there were I never saw any), is that fixed in this? And if there are any franchise problems are they easily fixable (the 2013 bug doesn't seem that fixable to me at this point since no one really knows what is causing it)? There is a workaround for the other game but I've just learned that is only a bandaid that delays the problem.
    What would Doc do?

I'm really enjoying it! I think the errors and injuries was one of their main fixes from last year.. This year i actually turned the injuries slider down to 20 and my guys are still getting injured quite a bit. I had it at 40 and lost starters back to back and a couple guys in my bullpen.. so i turned it down again cuz thats just too much. And the errors, its a lot easier to overthrow and make errors this year.. I average probably 1 or 2 per series, same with the computer.

I think that's because both LS and buttons can be used for throwing. You move infielder to get ball with LS and it's easy to throw to wrong base pressing the button because LS is doing it. I would rather they had one thing for throwing, such as either LS or button, but not both!

I've heard other people bring up this 2013 bug, but I've never actually seen anyone describe it. Could you tell me what it is exactly? Thanks.

I haven't picked up my copy yet....

Have they added anything to franchise mode this year? Any of the GM stuff that wasn't in '10?

...and the biggie for me...can you finally edit all the fake players entirely?

            Thanks.

Its pretty much the same as last year except that the fatigue plays a much larger part. Injuries and errors happen much more frequently which makes for a more realistic season.

As for editing, you can edit everything on preexisting players except handedness and position.

I don't understand not being able to change the position.. Some players are utility players that can play anywhere, so wtf?

It could have been solid, but the free agent salary demands are still low like they were in 2k10, and when you actually play games the players don't fatigue(They do when you sim though).

Hopefully these two issues will be patched.

Thanks too!...I can live with little things like that....

I was hoping they would have expanded on the GM options in relations to roster moves...trades and such...anything on that?

The game looks solid (waiting for my copy). From what I hear, they didn't expand too much outside of the 40-man rosters. So, you won't be responsible for any financials (marketing, ticket pricing, etc), waivers, or Rule 5. My buddy said that the fatigue thing doesn't bother him too much (me neither) and that the reoccuring injuries work pretty well. He told me that Lyle Overbay had a chronic back injury and has been plaguing him for almost 4 weeks (awsome!!) which was caused by diving for a ball.

To answer your other question, he has edited 95 players thus far without any problems but time will tell once he gets into the triple digits. The only reason I am giving this game a shot is because I have been dying to try out their analog controls. I haven't tried this game since 2k7 and their commentary looks incredible from what I have seen (and MLB Today feature looks great).
