    Player Development

Has anyone gotten far enough to see their younger players develop and reach some of their potential? I just got through the draft with the Reds and mainly drafted for potential. I hired some new good "teaching" coaches hoping it helps them reach that potential..
    Thanks

I'm only 40 games into my franchise, but I've read from other people that just because a player has a lot of potential doesn't mean they'll live up to that potential. That the players have to play well to develop.

from what I can tell, stay on top of your minor leagues and make sure guys are getting playing time, and success. If they are struggling at a level, move them down some so they have more success. Be sure your minor league staff is decent as well.

It's all I can think of right now. I'm still doing some testing of some things in both games so I haven't had a chance to start a full on dedicated franchise yet.

Here is a tip, don't get lousy stats with that player. If its a prospect play him at a lower level to make sure he does really well.
