Anyone have any good batting camera settings?

    Re: Batter camera settings

I'm using the first option from behind the plate, "Batter". And I have it set to 4 zoom and 10 height. Puts you at about eye level with a full view of the plate, gives you a good view of the park, and doesn't make the pitcher seem so far away like the other views from behind the plate.

Thanks will give it a try!

Default camera, zoomed all the way in to 10.

Yeah, the default one. Never have I drawn so many walks in a baseball game. I lead the league in walks.

I particularly enjoy using Camera 3, Zoom to 10, with Pitch Zoom off. Most realistic feel.

Behind the plate "batter" cam, with zoom 6 and height 7.
It really gives me a good view of what the pitcher is throwing at me.

I actually manage to draw some walks

Try Batter, 2 Zoom, 6 Height. Let me know what you think.

Batter Camera 2 ( 4 Zoom , 6 Height , Pitching ball zoom on ) works very well for me, tell us what you think.

Is there any way, other than using the Broadcast camera, to avoid the first person batter view? After I hit the ball, I'd like the camera to switch to the same view as it does for the CPU.

Is this really good? When I tried it, yes the pitcher was closer but you could not see any of the upper part of the stadium. Do you have a screenshot of how it looks in your game?

How can somebody else decided for you if its good or not?
You tried it and it seems you did not like it.
Why would a screenshot help? Wouldn't it look the same as in your game?

                            Re: Batter camera settings

i used to play on Batter 1, zoomed up to 7-9. and i had no problems getting hits.

now i started playing at zoom 1, and it seems to make hitting a lot harder. especially i'm more often late on fastballs .

didn't think camera view would make this much difference in gameplay.

anyways, for now i'm planning on sticking on zoom 1-3, seems the timeing and # of my hits seem more realistic.

I thought maybe he gave the wrong settings, because he said it gives a good view of the park and the pitcher is not far away. With those settings this is not the case.
