Great game for anyone who enjoys generic rosters
Love the fact that generic players all have "photos" and, better yet, have their names announced by the P.A. guy. I seldom play with real rosters -- that way I don't get my shorts in a twist if a player's ratings are off or if his custom face is an abomination, ha! Game also seems to play better with players whose contact and power ratings aren't all jacked up. I'm seeing so many more ground balls now instead of all those screaming liners.

If you want to play franchise, you'll have to edit the MLB players' ratings down into the 45-50 point range so that CPU-managed teams don't insert them back into the MLB roster. That will be a lot easier to do once the 2011 PC roster editor is released. And once that's done you'll be able to do a fantasy draft before starting a franchise without having to worry about the CPU selecting real players for CPU-controlled teams.
Another work-around that should work is to simply choose to control all teams in franchise mode, and then manage all rosters yourself.Last edited by peigone; 03-16-2011, 01:14 PM.Comment
