Late starter on 2k11. Is this a blessing?

OK. So I'm in New Zealand and have been waiting patiently for the release day down under ( 18th, tomorrow! Yay! ). I have been cursing and playing endless demos of SF V TEX. I was a glass half empty guy to this point, but now I think it's a glass half full. What I mean is I have spent every night trawling through impressions, bugs & glitches etc and I think I'm now at a point of advantage as I can adjust sliders, add patch 1.1 and generally get a decent franchise going right off the bat.

Any other late starters feeling the same way? I know some leave the purchase until reviews etc come in as well. I think this may have been a blessing....
A coach shares all the same highs, lows, victorys and defeats as the players. He just ends up fatter and balder.

i think we are one big patch away for this game and franchises to really be what they(we) hope it to be. but enjoy the full game. i think it is pretty good.

Just wondering: Does the wind in Wrigley swirl in the opposite direction when you play video baseball games in southern hemisphere locales?

Good to see someone from NZ who appreciates baseball. I lived there for about two years and really enjoy rugby now. Cricket took too long for my taste though. What MLB team you follow, mate?

PS Best wishes to you kiwis concerning the earthquake. Realize (realise) Wellington is a little way from Chch, hope you didn't get affected too much.

Love all things from the Rocky mountain state. Had a holiday in Colorado springs years ago and managed to catch a Rockies, Avalanche and Nuggets game in Denver during the season crossover period. I've been in love with American sports ever since. Wrong time to see the Broncos ( When they were good ). I still follow it all here in NZL religiously. My Wife laughs at me when I put my Rockies shirt on to watch a game

That's awesome I had buddy go to NZ a few years ago and come back a rabid All Blacks fan. He has the All Blacks logo sticker on his car now and wears their gear all the time.
