Analog pitching/hitting optional?

Been playing the demo the past few days and considering whether to get the game or not. In the retail version is there an option to turn off the the analog pitching and hitting?

I know a lot people like it, but I'm struggling with it at the moment and was wondering if the game will let you use the face buttons to pitch and hit. Thanks.

Hi,

There is an option to use "classic" hitting using the face buttons. You can do it separately for pitching and hitting. So perhaps you may like analog with one but face buttons on the other. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure you can try out the different options in the demo...

Maybe I'm wrong on that, but I think you can go to the controller options in the demo, and then switch between "Analog" and "Classic" for both pitching and hitting.

You are correct. You can change it to Classic controls in the demo.

Thanks for the responses. I thought the controller option was just for configuring the controller; didn't realize you could change from analog to face buttons. I'll give it a try.
