Can framerate issue be patched?

Trying to decide whether to go ahead and get the game or wait for the patch. The only thing I've found to be annoying in the demo is the drop in framerate. Is the frequency of this happening about the same in the retail version?

I tried the ps3 demo and it was very bad for framerate stutter, i have bought the pc version and while it has some it is night and day better.

I don't know what the issue is with your game, but my PC copy has absolutely zero framerate problems.

I would say yes. Look what 2K did with MLB 2K8.

I'm hoping something is done. At times it is really annoying/distracting. Its kinda unnaceptable the game was released like this. I'm not a big complainer, but it seems like at times the game will just stutter and completely stop during an animation(xbox 360 retail version). I downloaded the PS3 demo and it seemed worse(however, I understand that is just a demo).

I've been mainly playing The Show 11, and checking these boards daily to see if a patch is on the way. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I would say yes. Look what 2K did with MLB 2K8.

What did they do to 2K8?
Im unfamiliar with this series. This is the first year Ive purchased a 2K game since 07.

2K8 released in an absolutely embarrassing state. The frame rate was completely atrocious, it felt like single digits at times. They patched it to some extent on the 360 but there was still stutter. PS3 users were given no patch though. That year was not 2K's best moment in baseball.
