    Pitchers missing from Rotation

Of, so here's a weird one for you guys. I have a pitcher on my Orioles franchise (Hendrickson) who went down with an injury earlier in the year. Upon coming back he has a green cross next to his name, which apparently stands for chronic injury. While some of his abilities have taken a hit, I've brought him into pitch from my BP a few games and he's performed fine.

Here's where the mystery is: So last night one of my SP goes down with a two month injury, so I figure why not put Hendrickson in his spot? I go to my Pitching Rotation to put him in....and he's not there Not in the bullpen or the starting rotation.

I go and check the Minors and he's not there either. I check the roster, and lo and behold he's listed as MLB--so he's on the roster. So then I check click A on his name and it brings me up three options: "Cancel," "view player card," and "Release." So if he's injured it doesn't allow me to place him on the DL. I can't even reassign him to the minors and bring him back up It seems like the green cross might be causing this.

It's like he's there, but he's not. I suppose I could just throw him in as the starter on the games I want him to pitch, but this seems like a weird bug/glitch...unless I'm just missing something?

This could be related to this known glitch, but I'm not sure:

Go into your pitching rotation and press Y (triangle for PS3) to have the CPU optimize your pitching rotation. You may have to adjust it back to the way it originally was, but your missing pitcher will now appear.

You can also go to "roster" and then send him to the triple A and then just call him back up. He should be available after that. This happened to me when I "lost" Greinke.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. It actually fixed itself later when, as you guys suggested, I had the CPU optimize my rosters. Suddenly he was in the SP rotation. It's a bug, but it has a very easy fix around in the future
