You need to rip a CD into that flash drive through the xbox. For some reason Microsoft won't let you add music with a flash drive.

Strange, I ripped the files to a CD but when I try to rip them to the xbox hard drive it only rips some of the files, like about 6 of 60 files get ripped. Just has a circle with a cross through it for the rest, like it couldn't read them or something. Very strange. Several of the files have a lot of static.

I had this issue as well and what i did that helped with most was i went back and burned those tracks again without converting them from mp3 to a wav file and it made a difference with many of the tracks i could not rip the first time. however it will take a bout 3 or four disc just to test this out.

What are you using to rip the CDs. Because it doesn't work with Windows Media player.

Grab your music CDs, or create a burned disc from your PC. The tracks have to be in MP3 format.

                    2
Start up your Xbox 360, and insert the music CD. The CD should automatically start up.

3 It should be saying 'Track 1', 'Track 2' etc.

                    4
Choose which tracks you want to rip, and select 'Rip CD'. Ripping should take a few minutes depending on how many chose to rip. During this time, you can name the tracks while they are ripping.

                    5
Once the rip is done, you can go through and decide on what to name your tracks . A keyboard is handy because it makes typing everything a lot easier.

                    6
Once done, select a song from your list and start it up.

                    7
Go to 'Save Playlist' and name your selection HR-NY Mets Intro-Cleveland ect. (Again, a keyboard is handy for typing)

                    8
Start up MLB 2K11 go to Features --> 2K Beats --> Ballpark Music Manager --> and if you need it click L3 for Player walk up music.
Heres my problem. Step number 2, the CD doesn't automatically load up, I have to go to music player to play the songs. They are all there and in .mp3 format. Also the name arn't "Track 1, Track 2" they are "Baltimore Orioles-Intro.mp3 Boston Red Sox-Intro.mp3" etc etc

On step 4 there is no "RIP CD" option at all. Only PLay All and Add to Current Playlist

What program are you ripping the CD with and are you making a data disc?
The best way to make a cd is to download iTunes and make a MP3 CD.

Do these work in franchise? I successfully added the following the directions. The only missing piece is that it doesn't play. I haven't tried anything besides franchise though.

                            Thanks

If this is like any other 2k game you have to restart a franchise after adding the sounds to the game.

This might be a stupid question, but do you mean start from the beginning again? I did restart the xbox and load up my franchise, but it didn't work.

                                Thanks
