No they have been good about that, I am running a padres franchise and they don't talk about that slide in the second season. unfortunately, they have less to talk about and rely on stats from last year and don't talk about losing or winning streaks and playoff races from the year before.
If you are playing games in association though, the commentary gets old no matter what thoughhttp://www.youtube.com/user/Lumberjack33x
My Youtube Channel, I will be uploading almost exclusively sports gaming vids, along with other general gaming content. I'd appreciate any subs or contributions you guys want to give :D -

Exactly. I shut it off the same day I got the game. I'd prefer they go back to simple, basic commentary where they're announcing balls, strikes, outs, etc., rather than all that repeating statistical blather that gets old real fast.Comment

It's no more annoying than real life TV announcing. I still listen to it and I'm in my second year of my Franchise. Every once in awhile you'll hear something new and it seems refreshing.Comment

That's what I have now, I shut the commentary off completely. But no, I was talking more about having simple, basic commentary like, "Fastball in there for strike two...", etc. and eliminating all the repeating, team-and-player-specific stats and color commentary. The PES series has an audio option where you can set the level of commentary and choose to have announcers say players' names or not, that sort of thing.Last edited by peigone; 04-07-2011, 07:23 AM.Comment
