Sliders in My Player mode

Maybe this is a dumb question but: How do you start out My Player mode with the difficulty sliders you use in every other part of the game? It always starts on Pro for everything.

When I load the game itself, my saved custom sliders are there for exhibition (MLB Today and such), but if I start a new My Player, it goes to Pro.

Different modes use new default sliders if you want your sliders you use that are custom saved you have to manually input them into your my player file when you are outside of a game.
Example the "my player home" menu
