FA script turned off indefinitely (Ronnie's twitter)

    From Ronnie's twitter:

The FA script has been turned off indefinitely for both #NBA2K11 and #MLB2K11

I don't know what he's getting at, but it doesn't sound good

I'd assume it has something to do with online leagues and free agents, but beyond that... ???

This option was what allowed us online league admins to add/drop players from the rosters and make use the the huge free agent pools in NBA and MLB 2K.

They took this feature out claiming it made the 2K sites go slower... even though after they removed it the league pages are still a mess.

This was a move that seriously hurts any online leagues that try to keep rosters updated or customized.

Unfortunately, nobody on OS really knows what this is or cares so it will go away with a wimper.

It's utterly destroyed two of my mid-season NBA leagues. It's wonderful of them to remove features without telling us.

anyone hear anything else about this? any chance that we'll get this option back soon? This makes online leagues useless
