    CPU Franchise

Sup Everyone I was thinking of doing something totally different with my Friends where we would first do a Tournament single elimination where whichever teams wins thats our Franchise Team. But for the Franchise I was thinking instead of playing the games how about Watching them now we wouldnt watch all 162 games only the good pitching matchups and I would sim the bad ones and stuff. Iam posting a poll first to 4 votes is if I should do it like that or not iam just trying to be creative and i hope it doesnt end up boring also i will be trying to find cpu vs cpu sliders if u know any realistic ones please send me a message in this thread thx.

    Re: CPU Franchise

If you have multiple users, why don't each of you have your own team? The one big problem here of course is there are no coach mode options in the game, which would make it more interesting IMO. But I suppose being a GM with the ability to at least set lineups would make it playable. I just think a bit of competition in the form of each of you each having your team would be more enjoyable.

You're talking online, I didn't get that. I'm from the generation where your buddies would come over on Friday night, and you'd play until all the beer was gone or the TV screen got too blurry, whichever came first.

You and your friends get together and play the game in the same room, but all on different consoles? You're going to have to explain that one because now I'm mega-confused.

So you and your friends are going to sit around and watch a video game to see CPU King Felix battle it out with the Boston Red Sox lineup?

Yeah, that's what I understood from your first post. But then you said you were all on different consoles, and that you were playing offline, which makes no sense to me. So I'm still confused as to how you're going to run this thing.

What I said, was instead of watching/following one team, that each of you selects a team -- start a multiple team franchise in other words. That way there's some friendly competition happening. Would make it more interesting IMO.
