Player ratings at different positions

Is there a way to see what a players ratings would be at a position other than what is listed for that player? Example, taking a LF and moving him to 1B.

Ike Davis went down in my franchise, so I want to see what Murphy or Evans would be rated if not at 2B and LF respectively.

Also, does it track in the game where a player played position wise during the season/franchise?

As far as seeing their different ratings at a different position, you can see that on the Position screen or whatever it is. Under "Manage" in your franchise, don't go to "Lineup" where you set your batting order. There's another screen, I believe it's "Position Select" or something like that. It gives a player's defensive rating when you put a guy like Murphy into LF.

And I don't think it tracks where a player has played defensively.
