Crazy, my first game there and when I noticed that I was blown away. It's one of the things I really like about this game how I could hardly see the ball in the later innings.

I think the problem is that the CPU doesn't seem to be affected by it. If the CPU also was affected, I think a lot less "complaining" would be done.

Exactly! This is a one-way street and it favors the CPU. On the other side, we are not ballplayers but video game players and not all of us can see in the dark like cats. The game will not simulate real baseball and make you forget it's a video game, so it's all about having fun for me--and that means seeing the ball. Well, at least being able to see the ball, which is not the case in Wrigley with the shadows.

For me, it's not that I don't enjoy the shadows, they are just a touch overdone. If they were scaled back in contrast even...30%, it would probably be about right. It's not that the ball is "hard" to see in the 8th and 9th, it's essentially impossible. If not for the batters eye, I wouldn't have any idea where the pitch is going. Even with it, I'm basically guessing as far as timing goes.

Hopefully it's something that someone somewhere said to 2k, or an internal guy noticed when they were doing their testing of user complaints and bug reports, and maybe it got toned down in the upcoming patch. Otherwise, it will make a fair amount of my games as a Cubs Franchise player a few innings shorter I spose. :P

              I'd double this.

I thought it was just me. Didn't realize other folks were having this problem too. Thankfully only playing My Player mode with the Cubs, so I don't too many at bats in the eclipse.

Yeah its crazy lol i just swing when i think the ball is close and hope for the best. I dislike how the ivy is there at the start of the season. On the show it grows like in real life.

I do alright. Its tough as hell, but usually when the count is worked the pitcher tends to throw more hittable pitches. The swing timing is what gets jacked up, mainly due to the toughness in seeing the ball.
