I'm hoping the double play glitch is tied to the base running aggression slider as well....it did say in the notes that the sliders were re-tuned so maybe they're more sensitive now....that is my hope at least

I thought the same thing. The only HRs I ever gave up were to the big hitters and that was with power at 75 for cpu. Part of this is because there is too much of a gap between the contact and power swing. I wanted this to shrink and now they tell us the bigger guys just got more powerful? You'll never see a player with under 60 power hit a HR against you anymore (very rare pre-patch).

I like a lot of the patch notes but this area scares me to the point that I am kind of glad the PS3 hasn't got the patch yet. I want to see some impressions after more than just a few games from you guys. If this becomes an issue I may pass on the patch. Fixing fatigue isn't worth it if the game becomes less sim.

I played first two games of franchise and shocked that Placido Polanco hit a home run in both games! I have both contact and power at 50 for me.

Baserunners are very aggressive. Auto fielding is nice but Utley and Rollins making errors in the first two games does not seem right, Utley on a throw to second when he's between 2nd and first.

Very nice to see auto baserunning yield two stolen bases in one game. Game summary shows zeroes instead of real stats. Edit lineup screen shows batting averages but not energy level.

Line-drive outs seem to have been fixed, doesn't happen anywhere near as often as before.

People keep saying that the game summary shows zeroes. I played another game today and saw the correct stats during and after the game. I have the game installed to the hard drive and am in the middle of a current franchise I started back in March. Is this causing the difference?

Having the game installed to the HDD may be why your seeing stats. The game is always caching within the HDD

I also have the game installed on the hard drive, so that is not the problem.

I have the game installed to the HDD and I'm seeing 0's in the box scores during and after games. This is during My Player, haven't started a franchise yet.

add me to the list...in May in Franchise mode, not installed to the HD - can you even install it to an Arcade? not sure how much space it takes

would love to solve this one - any takers?

Almost overlooked the final patch note - Red Sox hats fixed. Wonder why they didn't fix more uniform stuff like this? The Braves and A's also have the wrong hats with their alt unis.

I feel like after the patch the game feels worse. When batting now half the time the swings look very jerky and is not smooth at all, and it looks like the ball has a magnet sometimes and attracts to the bat when it looks like it is to high or low. I usually play a game or 2 with my cousin every night, and before the patch our stats were average and consistent, after three games after the patch, we realize there are way too many soft liners over the infield, and too many home runs. As I am typing this he just hit his 6th home run, it is 7th inning. and we each have 15+ hits every game.
Fielding looks awful now as well, fielders making unecessary jumps for the ball, and quite often making catches in the outfield Jerry Rice would be proud of.

You could probably fix some of the uneccesary fielding acrobatics with sliders and such. I know OF speed at 25 is way to slow and @30-35 is a nice area to be at

Had a weird glitch last night with my Franchise. After finishing the season I was in the Free Agency period and only had 5 players to re-sign. My budget had grown from the previous year by 4.5 million and I had an overall budget gap of 28 million available.

So I re-sign Vlad Guerrero for 4.25 million.

Then I go to re-sign Luke Scott, and it tells me I'm over budget? I look closely and see it has me negative by $60 million and my roster budget at only $12 million! I about freaked out at this point, thinking my franchise was ruined.

I immediately shut off the system, turned it back on, loaded up the franchise, got to the same screen, and lo and behold, the problem was fixed.

                            Whew.

In franchise mode, anyone else seeing the boxscores show the lines only for the starting pitcher and not the relievers?
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Have the errors been improved? Pre-patch there wasn't enough booted balls imo, even with the gathering error slider at 100. The user NEVER commits any throwing errors either under the pre-patch way unless you totally screw it up. I think I've had one throwing error in my franchise. Did they fix this area at all? They needed to add a chance for error when the throwing meter was in the green and the patch notes don't say anything.
