can't install pc patch

it hangs on the first screen and i get a not responding message. they can't even do the patch right.

I installed it just fine. It will only work for the DVD copy I think.

i have the dvd copy. when i try extract the files manually, it says file corrupted. so either the file that is posted is now crap.

can someone post a download that worked. much appreciated. or even the files that are inside of the patch. pisses me off that I can't install

Mine worked fine. Just re-download it. I love that they put the 2k10 running camera as an option, I wasn't really digging the new one being so far away. Feels like a different game as well, in a good way.

Well, then I'm sorry to hear your troubles. It seems to be a problem on your end. Is it downloading at all? have you tampered with the original .exe file? All i had to do was run the auto-patch program and that was it. It did take a short time for it to do the HDD check before it could patch the game, but other then that it went pretty smooth here.

it downloads fine, but when i install it just hangs when i try to select patch. exe is from regular installation.

if i can just get the new exe, english.iff and other iff and copy and paste to my folder then it should be fine, but when i try extract it, it says corrupt file.

I downloaded and patched the game, but the patching process was really quick. I couldnt even tell if the whole thing went through.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought maybe you could tell by turning on the 2k10 fielding view.

If you right click on the mlb2k11.exe in the 2ksports folder (the one with Halladays head)then click on version it should show 1.1.1.1 if the patch was installed, before it showed 1.0.1.1. The patch does not install fast, when you first double click the patch exe it hangs for what seems like an eternity after you click the patch button but after awhile you will get the screen that has install button on it.
