How silly, a pitcher progresses in franchise mode

up to a level 94, yet he gets no new pitches added? I understand how some pitchers just get a high over all level even when having few pitches, but that's usually with closers. I hate having to add in a pitch manually because I'm not sure which would be most realistic.

What would you guys suggest a pitcher like Chapman get? Its usually the pitchers with lower velocity that start to develop a lot more off speed pitches, right? So what would someone who pitches up in the 100's get? Other than a 2 Seam Fastball

I gave Chapman a power curve. Seemed realistic to me. Gave it to him after his second year in my franchise. I made it rated a 74.
