Anyone else feel this game just feels boring? I'm playing this game and it does not feel enjoyable to me. I'm using Xbox controller for the PC and revised roster's. Default AllStar sliders. Anyone have any good PC Sliders?

It feels like baseball to me. If you check the PC impressions thread, a lot of other people love the PC version as well.
Here are my favorite sliders:

Just wondering what you think would make the game "exciting". Clowns? Scantily-clad bat girls? It's baseball for goodness sake. People in real life fall asleep at games. That should tell you everything you need to know.Last edited by peigone; 06-08-2011, 11:53 AM.Comment

LMAO. So true. I've had my bro fall asleep at a game before. Heck, I passed up a free oppurtunity to go to the White Sox game yesterday because I found something more fun to do.....which was play 2k11. Its a shame cause I love baseball but it isn't the most exciting of sports. Cant even count the amount of lazy saturdays where I passed out in the middle of the game due to baseball's slow and methodical buildup.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Congratulations. You're MLB's new marketing director.
The game does begin to drag for me in the fourth or fifth inning. This is partly the nature of baseball, but I also suspect it's due to the finite number of animations and game options. Unlike real life, in which anything can happen, the game can only do so much.Comment

Ha-ha!

I know what you're saying about finite limitations. But I don't think of the animations. For me it's the complete lack of any depth in the gameplay, and in the hitting dept. in particular. The timing-only swinging combined with the broken check-swing option makes hitting ridiculously simplified. If you want to see what hitting in a baseball game should look and play like, go watch a Pro Spirits hitting tutorial on Youtube. Amazing the sort of situational hit variety can intentionally pull off in that game. Reminds me a bit of the indepth user controls of a game like PES soccer.Comment
