I've turned off the strike zone, I think I can read the pitch better with it off. But I've noticed that sometimes the games shows a colored ball. What is this? I'm guessing it's similar to the game showing you pitches when you have the zone on. Is that right, and is there a list somewhere to what the different colors mean?
Do people generally use the left stick when hitting? I turned on the Batter's Eye and have been messing with it, but it doesn't really seem to affect hitting all that much as far as I can tell.
Since I bought the game to mostly play online, am I putting myself at a serious disadvantage by not having the strike zone on? It seems getting pitches tipped off can be a big advantage, and w/o the zone on, I don't think I'm getting that.
Also: I notice almost everyone uses power swing online. I'm guessing power swing doesn't hurt you nearly as bad as it should since even bottom of the lineup guys are power swinging?
