WRONG. Developers stated in their conference call that the office played against each other.

Not sure if this is meant as sarcasm or not. Playing against each other in the office is NOT QA testing the game. Not even close.

Thank you for proving my point.

I hope he was being sarcastic.

I think we can all agree that after years and years of glitched filled 2K baseball that whatever they do have for QA is hopelessly inadequate. Either that or their dev team is not talented enough to produce glitch free products.

Errors? Injuries? Check swings? That stuff never happens in baseball!!!!! (at least not in 2K's baseball world)

Errors happen, although not often enough IMO. Injuries happen and are way overdone according to many here. The check swing feature works but is essentially rendered useless due to its design (I'm talking button swinging). Fatigue though is broken, yes.

In years past, you'd have a valid argument. But I really don't have any issues with this year's game, apart from the bone-headed design of the check swing feature. This year's game is very playable and quite enjoyable IMO, something that couldn't be said for past versions of the series.

I was alluding to 2K10 with that remark, and to 2K11 with the check swing remark.

And just the bug-iness of 2K's baseball games over the past few years...

You can't bash a game because it used to be broken but isn't anymore. That's not fair, let's face it. If 2K fixed issues from last year or previous years, we should be complimenting them, not criticizing.

As for your second comment, I used to see it that way. I was a huge 2K critic for the past 4-5 years when they took the coward's way out and ignored all the negative feedback they were getting from gamers due to their glitchy, broken games. But they seem to be turning things around. Yes, 2K11 is probably the first 2K sports game I've bought in the past 5 years that actually feels like it isn't a ripoff and is worth the purchase (I don't play basketball). But that's a positive thing, and not something to bash them for as I said.

kpkpkp is invested in bashing 2K baseball. He spends a lot of time creating bug lists that are filled with things that are not bugs, as well as stuff he has not seen or verified. He is part of the group that just exists to bring the pain to 2K.

He will claim he is just trying to help the game be better, but what he does is create a list that is long and makes the game look worse than it is, which then feed into the haters that just love to bash. He's the last person I would take serious when it comes to assessing a game.

That couldnt be further from the truth.

I'll reply to your first sentance, and then get into the rest.

I am not invested in bashing 2K. I give them praise for the things they do well and criticize where they fall short. Mostly my criticisms are related to QA. I have offered such praise every year when merrited, and was very impressed with the comprehensive patch they put out this year. And I posted as such on their forums. But Im sure you knew that.

Now to get into the rest... I have worked on the bug lists since 2K8 to, yes help, improve the game. And I am confident that my work has indeed improved things. Ronnie Signh has always been appreciative of my compilations, and has even mailed me T-shirts and 2K gear to my home in Rhode Island to say thanks.

Of course not everything I list is verified. All I am doing is compliling what OTHERS REPORT TO ME and then passing things on to Ron2k for the Dev Team. Further; not all bugs are easy to re-create even though I try. What I'm getting at is I dont just make things up... I'm not out on some sabotage mission to dissuade forum readers from buying MLB. If you think that is my purpose you need to have your head examined and learn not to be so paranoid. And even if I was, why would the MODS at 2K sticky my threads? Or send me shwag?

Basically my criticism for 2K's MLB series is their QA. GO ahead... read my posts on 2K forums. My forum name over there is kevdood8312.

Read all my posts... both praise and criticism... and then tell me Im invested only in bashing 2K. Then tell me I have no good things to say.

...Have a good one, you cotten-headed ninnymuggins.

(I wanted to tell you what I really think of you for slanderizing what I am all about and what I have done... but the profanity filter forced me to get more creative with it.)

                              No kidding right?

I guess Fal showed up here last month and knows what I am all about after posting for years here at OS and 2K forums. But maybe he should read peoples posts before such a harsh judgement next time.

                              Or read some of my stickies from 2K forums like this;

                              http://www.2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281536

Then he could see what I am really about.

...Whats even more bizzare is when I was talking to Hal in this thread he even agreed with me on the furstration of check swings being bugged. And him and I tried to find a workaround.

                              http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-please-b.html

...And to think from other posts I actually though Hal was a decent feller. The profanity filter wont let me call him an *******, so I'll stick with Cotten-headed ninnymuggins as I did above.
