    Robbing home runs?

How many of you have done this? I play with Mkharsh's sliders and every time the opposing team hits a homer, it's always way out of the park... even without Mk's sliders. I feel it would be way more realistic to at least be able to rob a homer once a game, or even twice.

I've robbed two homers. But it's pretty rare.

Tonight, down 1-0, SD stole a Skip Shoemaker home run from me. It was great and frustrating all at the same time.

Man, I don't know. I don't know the stats on things like that.

once or twice a game isn't realistic at all lol. There have been less than 10 HR's robbed this year.

Only ones I can think of are

            1. Peter Bourjos
            2. Jose Bautista

Interestingly, I saw Melky Cabrera steal one from Lance Berkman last Saturday night when I was at the real life Cards game. But that is the only one I remember in 35 years of going to games.

I've seen one in real life. Barry Bonds robbing Ken Caminiti in 1996...

It's a rare play, I think 2k11 makes keeps it rare enough, I don't think anything needs to be changed.

I've never seen one live and I've only seen one and that was before the patch when they still gave you the runs. It'd be cool to see more, but I think it's fine where it is. It hardly ever happens in real life and 2k does a great job of keeping it from happening too often.
