the opponent review system is a joke.

I playing a ranked game, as the phillies against the yankees. Playing in Yankee stadium. I lead off and I notice he bounces the first 2 pitches to rollins but I don't bite. His nest pitch is a fastball so high I couldn't believe the catcher caught it. Then he misses a close pitch to walk rollins on 4 pitches. He proceeds to throw junk to Polanco as well. Then he groves a fastball on 2-1 to utley that I smash for a 3 run bomb. And then line out with Howard ibanez and victorino. But hit every ball hard.

I get up to pitch and throw a sinker just low that's hit for a grounder 2 consecutive pitches and got him chasing a cutter and a split change out of the zone for a quick inning, and he quits. I gave him neutral, had better had worse, for quitting. I wish I gave him negative for poor sportsmanship because he gave me negative for abusing exploits. I sent a message asking why, and he said I wasn't throwing strikes.

That is where I went off. I said explointing your inability to lay off a pitch out of the zone is not what they mean by abusing exploits. Plus it took him to his 10th pitch to finally throw a strike. So how the hell is he gonna ***** at me for not throwing strikes. And rate me negatively for when he was even more obscene with his pitches. At least mine were close to borderline.

Yea, if you win, chances are you're getting a negative review. I'm around 12-10 or something like that, which isn't great, but nearly every loss I get a positive review and every win gets me a negative review.

I don't even use a microphone when doing random ranked matches and I beat two Red Sox guys I a row pretty badly because I was smashing Wakefield. Both guys rated me negatively for being "Verbally Abusive".

I usually just rate everyone neutral now since it's always random with what they'll rate you. It's not really a big deal though. It's just a random rating in a video game.

I always back out of games if ur not using a mic. I like to have nice baseball convos with my opp otherwise I might as well play the CPU and I have The Show for that.

anyways I had this problem once too I just played a guy who swung at every pitch no matter how far I put it out the zone and he snapped at me, even though every 1st pitch of his was curveball in the dirt.

If I know ur going to swing at garbage balls that could almost go into the stands Ill just throw them all day long.

Besides its usallu kids who want the balls in the strikezone only. I guess they think every pitcher is Halladay.

        Ugh, tell me about it.

I can't play any sports games without getting a neg review. I get "Quit Early" a lot, and the only times I quit early are connection problems.

I think my approval rating is around 50%? 50.. %...

I don't talk trash, I don't exploit bugs, I don't (purposely) quit early. I play as authentic a game as possible.

I make it a point now to send each and every person I play online at least a "GG" comment afterwards in hopes that the guy will think twice about giving me a bad review.

I really don't see a way around it.

I got a few negative feedbacks cuz i will throw a fastball or two, maybe throw in a slider and then when i am up 0-2 or 1-2 i will throw a split change just out of the zone low or a knuckle curve low and too the outside. Ian kennedy thats what he does. those are his best pitches. Well i got negative feedback for not throwing in the zone. must of the time thats where my catcher tells me too throw it. If you know thats where the ball is going with two strikes then dont swing at it. simple as that.
