Bullpen Screen Stat Splits?

hi guys.
question.


when u hit the directional pad to bring up the bullpen screen, the opposing lineup shows stat splits vs. the pitcher you hover over. the question is, what are those stats from?
for example, I hovereed over Ivan Nova and it showed the attribute ratings for contact and power for all the batters, I am quessing because he hadnt faced any of those guys yet.
well i brought him in and he pitched against some guys, the next game I checked again and it didnt show any stats vs. those players.

now many of those do show stats, but they don't update.
for example, Cabrera's stat splits vs. Mariano was 333 Ba and 1 hr.
I faced him and stuck him out. Next game it still said 333. Ba and 1 hr/

Am i not understanding what this stat section is or does?
Maybe its just static and doesnt change?

if so, what ARe those stats lol

I believe those are the "career" splits, but much like the other "career" stats that pop up from time to time for the hitters, they do not update over the year (or year to year).
