Bad simulation?

Does anyone else besides me find this games simulation to be terrible?

For example in every franchise i have simmed C.C. Sabathia always seems to be terrible, while contact hitters are usually hitting over 40 home runs.

Another thing that annoyed me was some players retiring too soon. Arod retired at 37, that really annoyed me.

Also it's not realistic when players like Ryan Braun and Miguel Cabrera are hitting 15-25 home runs at best.

Anyone else have similar issues like mine?

Quick question: What does it mean when i swing and miss and there is no feedback? no early swing late swing etc.

For your last question, if you swing and miss and there is no feedback....it means "You been played son"!!

No seriously, it means you got your swing down perfect, its just that the players ratings may have prevented you from hitting that pitch. For instance, if you follow a players Inside Edge report, it may mention that he sucks at hitting breaking balls. Or that you swung at a pitch in his cold zone. Or the pitcher just threw you some good stuff.

I have been having a ton of these lately and on good pitches medium high fastballs with one of my best hitters perfect power swing and I miss very frustrating

Depending on how high the FB is, you have to catch it early to hit it. It feels like "getting on top of a fastball" in real life, kind of. If you get ahead of it in your swing you'll make good contact sometimes and pull the ball. If it's on the outer half, though, you're probably gonna pop up.

I dont think the sim stats are that bad. Most people report pretty realistic stats after a year of simming, so I dont know.
