MLB Today/All-Star Game question

I just finished playing the ASG and, naturally, failed to unlock the achievement. Anyone out there successfully get the achievement? If so, what did you do? I'm curious because frankly I'm annoyed as I only played the game to unlock that achievement.

I've seen other places you need to change the duration of the game to only 3 innings. Pretty stupid in my opinion.

Yeah, I had to do that too. Must be some glitch, as I had to do that for the MLB Today achievement as well.

First:

I want to thank you for creating this thread.
Because I totally forgot about this trophy, & would have missed earning it otherwise.

Second:

Is this glitch only on the 360 or all consoles?

I ask, because I have this game for the PS3, and I just unlocked it while playing all 9 innings.
On the first try to.

I thought I put it on 3 innings, before I started.
But I guess it didn't save.

Used every player on my team to.
used the N.L. & won 7-1.

I put it on 3 innings before even realizing it was a glitch. I was like "I don't wanna play the whole 9, so I'll make it 3" and it gave me the achievement.
