Calling Players Up and Down

I read on another board that people say there is a bug when calling players up from AAA. They say that the person will not be the same that they are a white even if they are another Nationality. I have never had this problem. Is it how they are promoted and demoted? I use the Roster and not the call up/down option. Maybe it is only when you use that option? Or is it players with no pictures like a Mike Pineda or Dustin Ackley?

I did September call ups from the GM-Roster and I didn't see a difference in the players appearance.

Nope not true, it's not only in September call-ups, it seems to happen at random anytime (as I've found out yesterday)...which is the real shame in this game, along with the injury bug.

I guess I have been lucky as I have called up pitchers and hitters and never once have I had their appearance change. Like I said I do not call up or call down, I use GM - Rosters - and go to the same screen where you can edit the players and opt to transfer player to AAA and to MLB.

Wow, unless this is just all luck, I think you could be on to something here...this is very intriguing and could save me a LOT of headaches (restarting franchise) down the road. Maybe it could even get more specific than this - GM Rosters and then picking the player you wish to demote first and then promote (or vice versa.)

Maybe I found a fix for this and didn't know it, LOL.

I admit I take and stack my Rays team (since they will never do so) and stack up AAA and call up and down by the GM - Roster through out the season and like I said never saw a difference in players. I need to play a couple of games and call up and down a lot of players and see what happens.
