I have played this game a bit more in the last few days. I still enjoy it very much. If 2K12 builds on this year's title I think we will have a very solid game.

I had a fun game last night in which I lost 8-6. I trailed 4-0, giving up a grand slam. Battled back to cut it to 4-2. Gave up 2 runs to go down 6-2, but scored 3 right back to trail by 1, and then tied it in the 7th inning. Made 1 bad pitch to give up a 2 run HR. bottom of the 9th I had a guy on with 1 out and couldn't get it done. But even when I lose I feel like I had a great experience, and in the end, that's all that matters.

I think the part that I enjoy is that this game player VERY simulation like, and that's very important to me as a gamer. Are the pitch movements a bit off? Yeah, sure... But it doesn't bother me - it's so unrealistic that it's comical. but it's a video game... And do you want most pitches to look alike? No, we don't...

But I truly do love this game...

In Franchise mode the computer changing my lineup killed it for me.

I'm going back through the season and playing actual matchups. I know that doesn't give me the full range of the game's capabilities, but the truth is I've NEVER finished a season or franchise mode in any sport outside of hockey or madden football (occasionally NCAA football years ago). So I just enjoy the play now games, of which I've played a zillion of them and they are fun for my tastes....

I know that doesn't give me the full range of the game's capabilities, but the truth is I've NEVER finished a season or franchise mode in any sport outside of hockey or madden football (occasionally NCAA football years ago). So I just enjoy the play now games, of which I've played a zillion of them and they are fun for my tastes....

Franchise is the best part of it for me.
Them changing the lineup constantly was terrible.

Franchise Mode has been very disappointing to me. You have to turn Injuries off and the fatigue system has many holes in it. The lineup changes are another obstacle as well.

Play Now games are fun, but I hope for 2K12, they clean up Franchise Mode.

Play now games is not worth $60 bucks though
I really hope they can fix all of the problems though because it was a solid game.

Agreed. I should mention that MLB Today needs fixing, too. If that was tuned up, I'd gladly pay full-price to play that mode, because it's a ton of fun.

I picked this game up for less than $20, and while it's fun, it's also lacking a lot of things that I'm used to from The Show. A good alternative but right now, doesn't have enough to sustain me over the long haul.

Definitely not worth $60... BUT, when all you have is a 360 and this is your only option, what do you do??

You can buy The Bigs . Its worse being here in Australia, i believe that this is the first sim baseball game that came out on the 360 down here. Its the only game that i will never trade or get rid of unless 2K12 comes out here also.

I also have a hefty mortgage to pay. And, I have 5 mouths to feed, me, my wife, and 3 cats!
