Actually MVP also released some screens. WSB is the only game that is definately coming out next year that hasn't released some info.

As far as I know, High Heat/Inside Pitch is still up in the air???

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Exactly, MVP and ASB are 2 of the 3 (ESPN Baseball being the third) that has at least released two articles and two batches of screenshots. ESPN Baseball has nothing yet. Now don't be saying that I'm being immature, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they for some reason cancel this game, which would kinda suck.

This game sounds to be one of the greatest improvements in baseball games (on the same console as the previous year, of course) if they go the same route they did with their other titles for this year.

Re: I\'ve been patient, and we have nothing but the title of this game!

No, not that, but just that... think of any year of any game, where they have at least released something saying that this game will undoubtedly be released for the year.

Last year for World Series Baseball 2K3 on September 5th, 2002. It's now November 17th, 2003, and not ONE thing has been released.

No way am I thinking or hoping that this game will be cancelled, neither did I say that I would be disappointed at VC... but I would just be disappointed that I wanted to get their game. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised. Hear that? I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm not trying to sound immature... AGAIN. I know that because I'm only 15, I am sounding stupid somehow. Don't worry, I know that you guys are thinking that, and I'm trying the best NOT to act like how you guys think I might act. I'm not like that. I'll never even have a fighting chance to be Asshat. I'm not bad enough even to be light pink.

Just stop thinking that I'm hating VC right now. I was madder before because there was dumb stuff happening to my computer, and well... here, it's in one of the MVP threads if you want to read about it.

To make it short, I would just like to see a SIGN to see that they are still making this game. Maybe that's what I wanted all along. That's probably why I didn't care if it was a screenshot or movie, press information or interviews... as long as it was SOMETHING that was released world-wide (i.e. the world wide web, www), and not just by FatPitcher. No offense, you understand.

Yeah, so I hope you guys understand my side of the story now, and to not be hating on me. I've been on these boards since February 23rd of this year never getting beef from anyone until now. So just please don't be mad at me or anything for thinking the wrong thing of me.

Re: I\'ve been patient, and we have nothing but the title of this game!

Oh, and by the way, here's what I mean by VC can't be trusted in some aspects. Here's part of that September 5th article by SEGA:

                  </font><blockquote><font class="small">Quote:</font><hr />
Jason Giambi, first baseman for the New York Yankees, introduced a short trailer for the game at this year's Sega Sports Event. The trailer showed a few things that were in last year's Xbox only version, including some great snags in the outfield and a fierce collision at the plate. But what truly impressed was the new addition -- wall jumps. And we're not just talking leaps at the wall. The trailer focused on this much-needed feature, showing about half a dozen variations. Players jumping back and slamming into the wall and several shots of outfielders putting spikes into the wall and pushing off for a greater leap.

                  <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

In the bold is a lie, because there was only ONE wall leap (well, two, one for lefties and one for righties, but they were both the exact same animation).

Muffin - Here's a positive thought (one that I'm forcing myself to believe). Seeing as how all other games that SEGA put out this year have had drastic changes and improvements (IMO of course), I'm hoping their holding back information on ESPN Baseball because they've made some "earth shattering" improvements towards baseball gaming. Just a hope on my part.

Granted they could probably show some screens and/or information without giving major improvements away, but I guess this is just the way they want it. Still patiently waiting, but I really hope to hear something before Christmas. Otherwise, I'll be pretty bummed out.
