ROTFLMAO...brother...I wouldnt hold your breathe for ANYTHING for a long while. 2K has an immense history of keeping info and media away from consumers like the plague or something. I would imagine anything until late january...and given their track record there is a legitimate reason why

Please stop with the hyperbole. 2K has never withheld game information from it's customers when it comes to their games. This series has always seen it's information begin in late December-Mid January.

You make it seem like they release all the game information 2 weeks before release

TBH, 2K does release info relatively early (January-ish). But the fact is they don't release much if anything of real value until just before release, if that. No gameplay videos, no dev blogs, nothing. (And all the breathless updates from Ronnie over at the 2K forum about "Exciting info coming next week!", none of which ever amounts to anything, don't count lol.) I recall they didn't even release a demo a couple years back until a week or two AFTER the game was released. Their PR approach is seriously lacking, and there's really no defending their track record in this regard.

Just wanted to add that I don't think game devs should even be concerned about releasing info until a couple months before a game's release. Gamers should still be happily playing 2K11 and not even thinking about a new baseball game until February. Just another dysfunctional by-product of this insane, expectation-heavy, creativity-killing annual release cycle that game companies are now locked into.

brother, its not hyperbole and you know it, nor is it "trolling" as some are bound to call it. Its a fact, I even own the game so its not biased either so now that we covered all the poo flinging conspiracies, the truth is 2k does with hold quite a bit. I mean they even with held giving retail copies to review sites until a couple of days AFTER release. Early screens get poured out, yet we dont get anything for months. 2k is well known for their "marketing" techniques and we wont even talk about 'shy ronnie".

Last year 2k11 came out with a developer video in January. So it's possibly that will be the timeframe this year as well.

OS & Jon Robinson were putting out preview information in both January & February.

We knew about the new hitting camera & about how the implementation of on the fly ratings system via Hot & Cold players would affect gameplay before release.

Aren't we still waiting on Part II of the Franchise developer insight from 2K11?

It will be interesting to see what 2K12 brings to the table. As a satisfied (although sometimes frustrated) 2K11 customer, 2K12 is going to need to be at least a few steps ahead of 2K11 for me to purchase it. These incremental steps won't cut it. That's why I still own NHL 10

"shy" ronnie is our one and only link to info and well...I will let others form their own opinion of that guy. Point is 2K wont release anything for awhile, they never have and never will. They also wont be apart of any community, not even their own. So the genuine answer to OP is still and will remain...I would hold my breathe on screens or anything relevant until about mid to late january best case.
