Any chance this game will have manage mode in 2012?

It exists in MLB the show but more as an accident of development than a separate mode and remains flawed. I would purchase this game if they would include a good manage mode.

Any chance they'll put zone hitting back in the game? Or the step-influence feature? Or include customizable CPU manager tendencies for individual teams? Heck, what about simply improving CPU AI manager decision-making, like removing their P from the batting lineup when the game is close in the waning innings? Anything is possible, but with the almost exclusive focus these game companies now have regarding online features and development, I'm not holding my breath when it comes to changes to the offline game.

Nobody knows anything about 2K12 yet, other than they are claiming this year is about "little things" (Well, that, and the format of this year's "Million Dollar Challenge"...lol). I wouldn't expect it though. Manager mode is a niche feature and not likely to garner enough support for 2K to feel compelled to add it. Again though, nobody knows anything for certain yet.

I don't care so much for the team sports games doing "My Player" modes stuff. It always feels disjointed with odd cameras. I would like to see a deeper manager mode. Not sure how 2K's Front Office Manager game was but it would be nice to see that layered into 2K12. Guess whatever we get this year will be the end of it most likely.

I'm waiting for the complete game with state of the art graphics and a deep manage mode and franchise mode.

There are games featuring one or the other but nobody has put together the complete package.

I'd rather they focus on getting the fundemental right, which has still been lacking. Ejections, check swing system that isn't horribly broken, weather effecting the game. Even bring back managerial challenges. Why did they even get rid of fighting with the umps?
