why do I LOSE money every year in wsb, or asb? I start out with like 1000bp and end up with 234 bp in 4years!!!! i have the most winningest team, and the best everything. and 4straight world series championships. why can't i EVER gain more money??

I have a few players/pitchers in the 30BP range, and some in the 10BP range. Barry's in the 90's, and Jose Cruz jr. is in the 40BP range. do u think this is why i lose money? and what can i do to earn money?Comment

I don't really even know if you can earn money. I think each team has a certain amount.

i've never earned money in a franchise for any winning team on any game....well, that would suck, because that means that MLB would go bankrupt iin 2028, in wsb/asb.Comment

I get money in my Franchises just by doing well. But I also don't start with 1,000 BP, I just kept the defaults. Then if I had winning seasons or if I won the World Series, my BP income would be higher the next year. I only had one losing season (this is playing about ten years, with a mix of play and simming) and I lost a bit of cash that year. But again, I haven't tried this starting with 1,000 BP, maybe you should keep the setting a bit mroe realistic or just turn budgets off?Comment

I guess it is realistic. MLB is already bankrupt too. But it sucks having a bugdet of negative 56.( -56bp ). I'll have to import tons of created players/minor leaguers, and get rid of:
Miguel Tejada, Jose Cruz Jr., Luis Castillo, Sean Casey, and myself(all-star 3B, who's contract is 112bp for 4yrs!!) oh, well. I guess this really is a business not a game
