Havn't played MLB2Ksince 07 on the Wii. (I know, I know...) Just picked up 2K11 and am enjoying it for the most part. I've been playing My Player since I got it. Started a SS and got called up half way through my first season.
The problem I'm having is a have real polarizing games. My first at bat in the majors I took it out of the park. Went 3/5 with 2 HRs and 5 RBIs. Thought I was doing good. After the first couple of games I MIGHT get one hit during a game. Then all of a sudden I go 4/5 during a game.
What is happening is that I am continuously fouling off. Most of the time I'm averaging an 8 pitch at bat. I usually get out by having the catch catch a pop up behind the plate.
Any thoughts or tips? I'm RH and my contact vs RH is about 71 or so. Is that the problem or just my controller/swing mechanics?
